Dear Francis:
Many thanks for your letter of April 28 and for the information. I am pleased to see that the hemoglobin I has been put straight, since I was always a bit worried about Makio's evidence. It is delightful to know that all the abnormal hemoglobins now fit the code.
As you can imagine, I am particularly pleased to hear about the revised sequence of serine sRNA, and I am beginning to believe that there really might be, something in it.
I now have some more valine sRNA, and I will try and see whether the IAC can be liberated as easily as the IGC in alanine sRNA. With best wishes.
Best wishes,
Vernon M. Ingram
