Dear Dr. Hauck:
I feel the most urgent challenge facing an individual in the world today, and this includes physiologists and physicians, is to do the most creative things he can in his special area of interest while remaining sensitive and concerned to the social problems that concern him in his community, the nation and the world.
Sincerely,
Arthur Kornberg
