Pollack, the Acting Secretary of the "Ad Hoc Committee of American Professors," which sought to enlist the support of prominent academics in pressuring the U.S. government to provide more assistance to Israel during its conflict with various Arab states in 1967, wrote this letter to Anfinsen to give him an update on the group's organization and their attempt to place an advertisement in the "New York Times."
