In this letter Sabin reports to Anderson that preliminary testing of tuberculosis phospholipin for diagnosing TB looks promising. Using it to stimulate immune response to TB, however, did not appear to be successful. She also tells him of her team's current thinking about the relationship between phospholipin and the formation of tubercles. Finally, she notes that lipoid chemistry is attracting more interest, and this is probably due to his excellent work in the field.
