- This photo accompanied Part 10 (6 October 1946) of Gorman's report on Oklahoma state psychiatric hospitals. The caption on the back of the photo reads: "Niggardly appropriations from the state are responsible for condition like this in one of Central State hospital's cafeterias." The photo also ran in the 28 May 1950 and 28 January 1961 issues of the Daily Oklahoman.. NOTE: The original photograph was retouched to obscure the faces of the people in the photograph.
