Macromolecular Arrangement within Muscle

Title:
Macromolecular Arrangement within Muscle
Description:
Szent-Gyorgyi made considerable use of the electron microscope (a recently developed technology) to learn more about the structure of muscle fibers and their arrangement in muscle tissue. This article briefly described the regular, close-packed arrangement of fibers visible in transverse and longitudinal sections of rabbit psoas muscle.
