Three publications resulted from the 1984 Surgeon General's Workshop on Breastfeeding and Human Lactation: the 'Report of the Surgeon General's Workshop on Breastfeeding and Human Lactation' (1984); the 'Followup Report: Surgeon General's Workshop on Breastfeeding and Human Lactation' (1985); and the 'Second Followup Report: The Surgeon General's Workshop on Breastfeeding and Human Lactation (1991).'
